Schaefer said the contract the fighters signed in May was for the bout to be at a limit of 147 pounds. But in that contract, each man agreed to a substantial penalty clause for every pound, or fraction thereof, more than 144.
Was the weight limit of this fight 147 or 144 lol... Don't bother lol...Comment

I'm done in this thread also lol...but i have a last retort. Floyd cheated JMM by coming in 2 lbs over to gain some sort of advantage on JMM lol.... Floyd decided to ruin his rep of always being in tip top shape by telling JMM and GBP's that he can't make 144 BEFORE the fight lol... Before the fight was even signed, Floyd told the guy he argues with all the time on ESPN(you know his name) that the fight was verbally agreed upon that the fight would be at 144. To think that floyd would sign a contract to fight JMM at 144 lbs when Floyd has not weighed that much in how many years would be assinine, yet *******s think Floyd cheated JMM as if he had to lol...Comment

Fair enough. So you want me to explain it to you in plain english. I'll pretend that you're 5 yrs old. THE CONTRACT SAYS THAT THE WEIGHT LIMIT IS 147LBS, BUT THERE IS ALSO A STIPULATION IN THE CONTRACT THAT SAYS THEY BOTH CANNOT GO OVER 144LBS, OR ELSE THEY'LL PAY A SUBSTANTIAL PENALTY, WHICH IS ALSO PART OF THE CONTRACT.
You simply stated several times that there is no contract and yet posted an article saying that there is. How else do you expect for us to react other than calling you ******ed.
BTW, this is just the same as Manny vs Cotto, the bout is a WW bout and with the limit of 147lbs as usual. But there is an agreement in the contract that Cotto and Manny cannot go over 145lbs, hence the catch weight. When did i ever in this thread called Floyd a cheater or got caught cheating. Another ***** that can't read just like the Mayweathers, i think i see a pattern. I'm simply pointing out to Ducketts that it was part of the contract, period. In regards to Floyd cheating, it depends on your point of view. If he did it on purpose to go over the limit knowing that he'll have a huge advantage, then you can imply undoubtedly that he cheated. The fact that JMM had to climb up 14lbs over his normal weight and the fact that he never weight more than 135lbs professionally, let alone over 140lbs, gives JMM a huge disadvantage right from the start. And to add more insult, Floyd comes in at 147lbs.Comment

floyd cheated jmm on the weight. he had no intention of making 144 lbs and planned it from the beginning. this is plain and common sense.Comment
