Where Does Arturo Gatti Go From Here?

I believe after he beats Leija he should fight Hatton.

Well thought out Sean. I think Arturo Gatti should fight a legitimate force at 140. He beat an old Terron Millett, had 3 fights with Ward, fought Branco, then ko'ed Dorin in Dorin's first fight at 140. He should stop bull****ting about Tszyu and Hatton, these fights will never happen. He should unify with Vivian Harris instead, because Harris is the only mutha****a at 140 not ****ing around.

Gatti is a threat to almost any fighter. Sure, I would love to see him fight Hatton, but on that note, I want Hatton to fight everybody!

Hatton is the perfect foe for Arturo. That fight would be hell on wheels!

after jesse james i would think he will fight mayweather. the only belt pretty boy has fought for is the wbc title, which gatti holds, so thunder vs pretty boy is the obvious fight at 140.

Gatti's team is for sure hoping that he impresses enough against Leija that he'll get a shot with one of the big boys, especially Mayweather. You can bet that they're hoping for around performance like he had against Dorin.

I don't mean to sound like a hater, but I think Gatti loses to everyone in the top 5 at 140, and even some of the 135 pounders.

He was always a decient fighter with a big heart and he is exciting. However in term of being in the upper exhelon of fighters, he is not there yet.

When he is forced to defend his title against a real threat, he will be stopped.

Whats funny is I think Gatti has a better chance against Floyd today then lets say 5-6 years ago when he was younger and had less miles on him. I dont think Gatti has the face to go 12 with Floyd. I think Floyds accurate punching would cut Gatti and the fight would be stopped early
