well khan will be observing ramadhan for one month and u cant expect him to fight/train round that time, and after ramadhan he would have to start training and then pick a fight, u have to choose a date in advance not 2 weeks before the date

Amir is starving himself to appease some religious figurine whose existence is as fanciful as the garden fairy taking off with the geese and flying north next year.

No-one's mentioning how ****in ****** that is.

there is something more important than boxing to khan and that is his faith. The reason he is taking this long out, is firstly around 13th of August, Ramadan is starting, so he will be out for one month. He will also go to Saudi. Now he will be ready to start training once Ramadan is over. So around 15th of September, after EID, he can officially resume.

There on roach generally trains on an 8 week camp, so anytime in november/early dec makes sense and is correct

No disrespect to Amir but Rahmadan isn't continual fasting. ******s typically rise before dawn and eat, then refrain from eating til dusk at which time they are free to eat again. ******s who participate in Rahmadan still work as usual. My question is, why can't Amir work during that time? Lame excuse

Its not a lame excuse, please dont be so ignorant. Allow me to educate you.

Being a nutritionalist, i can tell you that there is degree you can cut down weight through working out even when consuming excess calories (3500 calories = 1 pound, an extra 500 calories weekly gains you a pound a week). Once you break that barrier, in order to further cut down weight you have to cut down calories.
Khan at 135 had to starve himself to make weight, tht meant not eating alot of food and feeling weak come fight night.
However, at 140 he is eating 6000 calories per/day, but ofcourse to stay around 140 he has to burn atleast 3500 calories, otherwise he'd be fatter then hatton and hamed put together. The benefit of the latter is your body gets used to the excess fuel (food) and is like a machine come fight night...this is the reason roach's fighters dont get tired and are able to specialize in volume punching

Now, during ramadan theres no way he can get 6000 calories in his system daily.
I hope that makes sense to you

He has an international following, In the UK, USA, India/Pakistan and even the far east such as the Philiphines because he trains with Manny.

The guy is the highest paid boxer in the 140lb division and has been famous since he was 17 years old. He has already been PPV in the UK, So I dont know why PPV for Khan is something new to you?
