Castillo's had a long career and is past his best, but he's not totally shot like some people are saying. When you're shot the first things to go are your legs, it's not like he's getting beaten up and knocked down all the time.

The most promising thing about this news (besides he won) is that he fought at 142lbs. He had no business being at 147, 140 shows he's taking it seriously. I'd love to see him get a rematch with Gomez though just to set that straight.

Why doesn't JLC have enough money to retire yet? I mean he's fought Mayweather(twice), Corralles(twice), Hatton, Casamayor etc etc, shurely he has made enough money to retire just from those fights alone?

sometimes these fighters just spend everything and are left with nothing, although to me he won't be champ again, but i can't say he shouldn't be fighting, this is how he makes a living,i mean we don't know how he is fanancially, this is his "job" so if he wants to keep fighting to earn a living oh well
