Shane Mosley is TERRIFIED of Paul Williams.

After losing to Floyd (mind you that he accomplished something in the 2nd round that no other fighter ever did to Floyd) and having that long layoff from the Margarito win, I think Shane should take an inventory fight. In other words, Mora is a name opponent and a West coast fighter that may draw fans. Its the type of fight where Shane can discover if he has gas left in the tank. I don't see why he should take a Paul Williams fight after a tough loss at age 38. Anyways, Shane would make more money against Mora as it is since he'll get more of the pie than a Williams fight.
Shane has about 1 big/semi-big fight left in him, and it wouldnt be smart to take it right after a loss. So he takes Sergio to probably win by KO then after maybe he moves up to 154 and fights sergio , paul, or cotto.Comment

yeah he could actually. PW has no defense and is slow as hell but for whatever reason sm was gassed and grasping for a large part of the fight. these guys dont train to fight 12 rds. they train to flurry and take breaks while clinching. pw takes that away and presses forward. his day of reckoning will come but it wont be by sm. his team knws it also.Comment

I am good with that. I just hope you can pay your bets.

"I took rounds off to conserve energy"
Remember late in the fight he slipped and crawled around for a minute to catch his breath? Williams wore his ass out.Comment

I am not huge fan of either because simply against each other, neither sits down on anything.
They only do it early, looking for the home run.
Then both pitty pat trying to outwork each other.
And both get hit, more than a quality boxer would.
It's why Quintana beat PWill and Margs schooled Martinez.
It's like they don't have the courage when all is said and done.Comment

His legacy is at stake. Losses to top fighters wouldn't look good at all. Wins over mediocre fighters usually keeps a fighter in the game for longer.Comment
