How so? You're assuming I haven't watching BHop vs Oscar on what basis? What does that have to do with anything? Oscar was embarrassed by the little filipino and nothing you say or do can rewrite history..

Getting put down with a body shot as your first knock out loss. Is much worse than being obviously weight drained, under weight, and needing an IV to rehydrate.
Sorry. I know your nuthuggery runs deep in your family blood but nothing for Oscar is worse than Hopkins putting him down with a body shot.Comment

Um nope. Before the B Hop vs Oscar fight, it was not crazy to think B Hop could hurt ODLH. B Hop is a big boy. Before the Manny vs Oscar fight, people looked at it as a circus matchup. People were saying ODLH would knock manny out with the jab in the first round. LOL!. The little blown up lightweight embarrassed De La Hoya. Dude QUIT to a smaller man..

If you read the post again I didn't say he doesn't have power and he can't finish. I am basically asking is his power and finishing skills overrated because many including Manny said if he had Floyd hurt like Shane did Pac would have finished him....I love to see Pac fight but nothing that I have seen in him proves to me he stops Mayweather in two rounds. I gave the Marquez example.
Beating Oscar to me was his career defining fight because he wasn't supposed to win that fight...Yeah Oscar might have been weight drain or what not but once you get in the ring the excuses must end.....But it watching that fight it was more about Pac's speed and relentless pressure that was too much for Oscar....Pac never dropped him even after hitting him with so man punches flush....Oscar's inability to defend himself and to land punches cause him to quit but it's not like Pac hurt Oscar cornered him and knocked him out.....
The Hatton knockout added to the legend....to me that was an easy one to pick....Hatton got knocked out by Floyd, got hurt several times by Lascano and he has a face first defense....If every Pacman fight was like this I won't make this post....but this was not a typical Pac fight
Cotto.....was another tailor-made fighter for Pac....See Cotto has taken his share of whoppins....but his desire and self belief always got him through those times....Magarito beat that out of him...But once again Pacman hit him with everything but the kitchen sink for over 12 rounds.....Cotto could have continued but Bayless did the right thing....Cotto wasn't going to land anything big so that was that......
Clottey was a clown for fighting that style but that was a horrible fight for Manny...he didn't do anything to bring Clottey out his shell
Anyways the whole point is that I think Pac is a dynamic fighter but I believe his power and finishing skills are overrated....I remember back to the Larios fight....I was sure Pac would knock him out just after Vazquez had.....and it didn't happen....and I was sure he was going to knock out Barrera the second time and it didn't happen.....those were two guys who were damaged and way past their primes....and that's when I noticed it was his speed and determination were his best assets not his powerComment
