I think most REAL fans have come to accept that talk is useless.
This fight isn't gonna happen. Fortunately for us, there's plenty of action up and down the classes.

FW/SFW (Juanma, Marquez, Luevano, Gamboa), Lightweights (JMM, Katsidis, Peterson), Jr Welters (pick any 5), Jr Middle (Cotto and some others who can make weight), MW (sergio, punisher, sturm), and of course the SMW tournament.

      It has died down alot.

The dumbasses who run this sport have found a way to shoot themselves in the foot once again. I'm sick and tired of this corruption and mismatched fights. If this Mayweather fight falls through then I'm done with pro boxing, I will push my focus mainly on my amateur career but **** those *******s running this sport I hope they all die of AIDS.

Kind of like the Wlad/Haye fight, interest has peaked about a month and a half ago.

The maximum potential for this fight to sell has been reached in the past, though it would still do great even if it happens next year sometime.

The ones with common sense knows that there's only one person responsible for this fight not happening, it ain't Arum and it ain't PAC.

Who has gone on record time and time again that he would make easy work and make a huge sum of $$$ beating the other fighter, and i'm still wondering why someone would take this long to decide whether to fight an easy fight where he can make alot of money, probably more money than he's ever made.

            anyone losing complete interest?
what i hope is happening is the two sides are being smarter in not revealing anything to the public/media. There is so much pressure to get it done so hopefully they can keep us out of it and just concentrate with one another to get it done.

Both parties are to blame for this fight not being made, if you blame one side over the other then you are blinded by your bias. But Iam not getting into one of these pointless pac v. may arguments again.

Its only peaked with hardcore boxing fans who follow day to day news. I personally stopped reading all the threads related to this topic back in January.

The only good thing is that they are keeping the negotiations private this time, that's why there is less media attention.

All this will be forgotten as long as they fight, the boxing fans will obviously watch and all the casual fans don't care about all the drama on the internet.

But if they don't fight...man oh man...

Well there's no reason for hype right now. It's all speculation. It's not a done deal yet. Once the fight gets signed, if it does, better believe this **** will explode. I mean, we can only talk about it so much until it actually gets signed.

I'll admit I think hype has died slightly, but it could come back, but the biggest thing is the hope has died. Both...BOTH sides are prima donnas who I don't think will ever agree to terms. I'm sorry but I'll admit I think this fight could have done better numbers in may than in september if it ever even happens.
