When you add in the fact that floyd did better at ppv sales and at the live gate than Manny in the last 2 fights 60/40 split for floyd is not totally unreasonable. I'm thiniking 55/45 is fair. In another thread I posted the following:

Manny v Cotto 1.25 mil ppv sales
Manny v. Clottey 750K
Total 1.95 mil x $49. 95 = $97,402,500/ ($222.275,200)=%43.8

Floyd v. Marquez 1.1 mil
floyd v. ssm 1.4
total 2.5 mil x $49.95= $124,875,000/($222,275,200)*100= %56.2

$97,402,500+$124,875,000 = $222,275,500 (all fights)

Strictly economically speaking, manny can't justify asking for a 50/50 split because no matter what awards, accolades, championships etc. he has more people pay more money to see floyd fight than manny.

Floyd makes way more on average ,Floyd on average is cracking like 30millon in his last 4 fights, Manny I don't know if he is cracks 15.

Now neither is hurting because even if they don't fight they will both still get paid well against any man they fight but would make more against each other, with Floyd making more on average Manny is the one with more to gain with a 50/50 split. Finacially anyways.
