Yeah. And much much wider. Sure Froch was hurt against Kessler and Taylor. Both straight punchers. AA is a hooker.

It wont be as easy as some here thinks.

He knocked Jermain Taylor into the 6th realm with a straight right hand down the pipe.

I wouldn't say he is just a hooker.

True. But how many straight rights does he employ? Not many. His big and flashy powerbursts consists exclusively of hooks. A fighter with good footwork can pretty easy escape I think.

Not sure if Froch can but I wouldn't rule it out.

He may throw more hooks than straight rights, but he certainly does throw straight right hands along with solid jabs.

Dirrell was JUST evading the hooks by circling around the outside of AA. Dirrell has faster footwork, faster lateral movement, and better reflexes than Froch and was barely escaping... Froch WILL get clipped, I don't know if he will be stopped.. but he will be hurt at some point in that fight.

i don't think froch is fleet-footed enough to accomplish this. i'm 99.9% he'll be squared up, hands down, chin in the air as usual.

There's no chance for AA to outjab Froch. Kessler is one of the best jabbers in the business and Froch matched him pretty good in that department.

You think AA throws a lot of straight rights? I disagree and I cannot see AA have success with he old 1-2 against Froch. Froch will probably have a reachadvantage by a couple of feet.

No. AA will fight the way he always does. Turtleshell and explosions off of it. He'll lose a jabbing contest and he will surely eat a lot of jabs early on.

Did I say he throws a lot of them? No I didn't.

He does in fact throw them, and when/if he does.. .it can/will put you to sleep.

Also, AA doesn't need to win a jabbing contest... he needs to make Froch pay when he comes in on AA to put work in... which in fact he will.

Froch will be there to be hit without a doubt in my mind, and I don't think he can take that kind of power.

AA will also have faster hands than Carl.
