He took on a 29-7 Glenn Thomas in a 10 rounder in his 8th fight. Think about that ... 10 rounder ... Glen Thomas ... 8th pro fight. If you wanna talk about a test, check out the who's who list who fought Thomas. He went the distance with Michael Nunn, James Toney, Virgil Hill and Mike McCallum. He also went 8 with Roy Jones Jr. ... Lacy blasted him out in 55 seconds.

Lacy won a fringe belt in his 12th pro fight, won a few more in his 15th and won a world title in his 18th pro fight.

and in LESS THAN 20 PRO FIGHTS ....

He flew to Manchester England to fight a 20-2 Cruiserweight.

He fought and beat the recognized Super Middleweight Champion and extremely cagy veteran.

He fought a fan favorite relentless ****er in his first title defense.

Even his first mandatory was a 26-1 legitimate challenger.

Half of Lacy's pro fights have been for some sort of belt or eliminator. And what this equates to is a 19-0 World Champion who's only 27 years old, not ring worn at all, and already an attraction. This kid is really special yet no one ever talks about how quickly and fealerlessly he attacked the pro ranks.

All we hear about is how slowly Cotto, Taylor and others are moved along and now we have a guy to celebrate yet he's not celebrated. Step up *******s.

If Jeff Lacy are so great why will he not fight Mikkel Kessler.
"Team Palle offered Jeff Lacy a fight with Kessler for later this year, but Lacy turned it down saying that he wasn't ready for Kessler "because he is a chicken

Tell Kessler to come to the states and the fight would get made. He finally left Denmark to fight Mundine in his backyard. Should be no problem for him to come fight Lacy just anywhere in the States. It doesn't have to be in Florida.

Better tell Brown Bomber to tell Lacy that. I don't know Lacy.

Umm...the Chin Checkers in my signature will develop well and both be able to defeat Kessler and Lacy.

Well Lacy is facing Robin Reid. That's a good matchup. Maybe afterwards he'll fight Kessler. Why doesn't Calzaghe fight him? Calzaghe has a more comparable number of fights. Lacy still only has 19 fights right now.

Calzaghe doesn't know who the **** he wants to fight, he keeps making alot of noise but not doing a great deal about it esp in recent times, he's 'been moving to LH' for a dogs age now oh and been chasing the unification fights but alas nothing has materialised for him. I think he's no 1 at 168 but i'd really like him to prove it against Lacy, time has virtually ran out

Calzaghe said about one year ago he will meet Kessler, but after Kessler had beat Manny Siaca and Anthony Mundine have Calzaghe even speak Kesslers name but he had told that,i will not meet Mikkel Kessler.because Calzaghe known that, Mikkel Kessler are the best in 168
