Your Analysis of Mayweather Vs Pacquiao

One of the key ingredients in truly objective analysis is one must put aside emotion because 99.9% of the time emotion detracts from rational thought. However, in contrast passion will almost always enhance rational thought because it drives one to educate oneself in a matter.

Lets give it a try…I have always admired Pacman since his fight with Barrera. It was so refreshing to see the passion in a young fighter like Pacman displayed against a smart and technically sound fighter like Barrera. Pacman is a great fighter period. The excitement buzz and passion he brings to a fight ..and lets not forget the huge “Heart” is what has catapulted Manny to the top of the boxing game today.

Yet, even with all these attributes Manny will not beat “Mayweather”. And we will see this fight make no mistake about it! Here are the reasons in order of importance:

    1. Defensive brilliance.

    2. Speed and all important “Timing”.

    3. Boxing intelligence. (watch the Marquez fight again)

    4. Ability to take a “bomb” actually two.. (The Mosley fight)

    5. Strength (Mosley was shocked at the “strength of “Mayweather” ..he could not muscle “Floyd” around the ring… and Floyd stood toe to toe throughout the fight. Margarito could not do this against “Shane”).

6.Ability to adapt in the ring.

    7. Unprecedented connect percentage… Manny takes too many punches…and he will be hit often and clean.

Summary: Remember this reply…it will serve as a blue print and a round by round breakdown of the “Fight”.:

    I await your responses..............

BTW if you want an explanation for the red K, I will provide you with one via PM.

none of those reasons change the FACT that Corley, a southpaw, buzzed him pretty nicely. He sent Floyd retreating to the ropes in a high guard. Corley then went head hunting, and lost his opportunity to truly hurt Floyd by attacking his body with straight power shots.

Floyd threw his right hand, Corley went overhead with a haymaker that caught Floyd blind right on the jaw.

It doesn't change the FACT that Zab landed several 1-2 combinations (right jab, power left hand) through the early rounds that flustered Mayweather. Caught Floyd clean to the face and body with it.
It also doesn't change the fact that Zab caught Floyd leaning in with a check hook that sent Floyd off balance and he touched the canvas.

It doesn't change the fact (well, opinion I guess) that Manny Pacquiao is by FAAAAAAAAAAAR a better Southpaw than both of those guys combined.

it's a 50/50 fight no matter how many points you try to make.

Pac can finish it early. Floyd can take a SD/UD. It can even end up like Chavez/Whitaker (two legendary ATG fighters who actually MADE **** HAPPEN!)

I'm pissed off at both of these bitchass divas.

        1. Defensive brilliance.
SURE FLOYD HAS GOOD D BUT HE STILL IS VULNERABLE AND CAN GET HIT
Dont forget Pac hits you with awkward angles with power

        2. Speed and all important “Timing”.
        True Floyd has speed
        3. Boxing intelligence. (watch the Marquez fight again)
True Floyd is smart in the ring and is able to adjust

        4. Ability to take a “bomb” actually two.. (The Mosley fight)
And so can Pac. Dont forget Shane landed but couldnt finish.. Once Pac lands a flush shot, expect numerous combos after. Pac has that killer instinct.

        5. Strength (Mosley was shocked at the “strength of “Mayweather” ..he could not muscle “Floyd” around the ring… and Floyd stood toe to toe throughout the fight. Margarito could not do this against “Shane”).
Pac is strong enough to **** with Welters, we already know that.. The question is who has a stronger punch Floyd vs. Pac. I would say Pac has more pop in his punches.

6.Ability to adapt in the ring.
Floyd does adapt well ex. Hatton

        7. Unprecedented connect percentage… Manny takes too many punches…and he will be hit often and clean.
Yes Manny does get hit alot but in the Cotto fight he wanted to get hit to prove he can take a Welters punch.. I doubt Roach and Pac let Floyd rack up them points by letting Floyd hit him..

I agree, floyd was just too good to avoid the punches of those particular opponents.....

lol, no way is it a 50-50 fight. Manny Pacquiao has been soundly defeated before and it can happen again.
