I'd rather use the expession avoid, but Mayweather probably has reached a higher statis than any fighter in history while carefully choosing opponents and avoiding dangerous fights.

While that may be true, I think floyd beats both prime margarito and cotto because they move forward and play right into his hands. Ill admit he should have fought them both before retiring but hey no one knows his stuff and he might have seriously needed to heal. Sometimes you gotta see even thought a fight didnt happen, its pretty obvious what the result would have been in retrospect.
