    It's been revealed that Miguel Vazquez (25-3, 12KOs) of Mexico and Ji Hoon Kim (21-5, 18KOs) of Korea will fight for the vacant lightweight title of the International Boxing Federation (IBF) on August 14 in Laredo, Texas. Kim has been riding a very long win streak with recent victories over Tyrone Harris, Ameth Diaz and others. Vazquez upset a previously undefeated Breidis Prescott last July with a spit decision win.     This is a great match up and hopefully it will be on espn seeing as both their fights were televised by them.

      i think aug 14th is a saturday tho...it has friday night fights written all over it tho. unless its top rank boxing on fsn. vasquez is managed by margarito and his team so i think escalante vs roman might be in trouble for fight of the year so far

              is the korean guy the one who fought on espn and was getting drilled until he ko'd the opponent? thats the only fight i've seen of him and one things for sure,it looks like he comes to fight and won't bore people like a lot are saying ward did this weekend,now this fight i won't miss,he impressed me with his style,kept trying and it was only one round i believe

                This is a very good fight, Kim will most likely be getting outboxed and countered for how ever long this goes but has 1 shot ko power and has won fights with it that he was losing badly.

                  How in the hell has it taken Anthony Peterson so long to get a title shot, it should be Peterson facing Vasquez first.

                    fantastic matchup!! i can seriously see either winning. Kim has the punching power but vazquez is a tricky one
