People need to lay off Andre Ward, Ward is a breath of fresh air for the sport imo, particularly as so many fighters have ****ty attitudes and dont want to fight the best consistently to prove their worth.

Ward did not put on a particularly pleasing fight against Green but that does not mean to say he wont in the future, dont jump on his back for one performance.

Right on TS, from the disgusting responses last night I wonder if ppl here even like boxing because Ward gave an ideal display of that by landing shots from the outside and inside while taking about 4-5 flush shots only for 12 rounds.

Its the same old story, if someone boxes in a technical manner ppl say its boring and the fighter is not a warrior, and if they win with some aggressive style where they get hit alot they are an unskilled brawler who has no D and only won because of his power and chin.

Yeah, like Ward because he comes across as a thoroughly nice guy, plus he has good skills and seems really determined to make his mark in the sport.

Right, but this is NSB. Posters on here complain about any fighter or anything. I ask myself, do they guys REALLY like boxing? Anyways, dude has dominated in this tourney thus far and is getting better with each fight. The two guys he has faced, he made it look as though they don't even belong in the tourney (maybe Green does not belong). I can't wait till he fights Dirrell (who I like) and shut more people up.
