  • There were questions about Morales’ struggle to make weight, once again. He seems to torture himself to make weight. He looked dried up and weakened during the official weigh-in. Ayala made the 126-pound weight easily and even looked good doing so.
After watching this slaughter, we saw Erik Morales go from the division limit of 126 pounds, which he made at the weigh-in on a retry, to 141 pounds before he left his dressing room the following evening. The much bigger Morales stopped Fernando Bobby Boy Velardez at 1:02 of round five. Erik had such a tough time making weight that he vowed never to fight at 126 pounds again, and he will only meet Marco Antonio Barrera if Barrera steps up to meet him at 128 pounds.

        1) Avenge his loss. (Who wouldn't?)

        2) It was already set up for them to have a rematch.

        3) Way more money fighting morales than raheem

        4) Got his gloves (LOL!.. just playin)

To be real, zahir raheem isn't even a HOF'er. He would have been a minute spec in pacquiaos career, just like ledwaba & sasakul (people tend to overlook them and say they were nobodies, though they were highly ranked fighters before manny beat them)..

look at this nuthugger, zahir raheem atleast beat morales before pacquiao beat him twice, who did ledwaba and sasakul ever beat? the idiotic *******s never tend to amaze me.

If Pacquiao really wanted a "rematch", he should have fought morales at a healthy weight.

look at pacquiao in 09:19 of this video and embed it if u can.

this is when raheem dominated morales, and pacquiao fought morales next after morales was already outclassed by raheem.
