BOB ARUM: Well, I think he’s probably at his most marketable up to now, but I think it’s just starting. I think that the public now is beginning to appreciate this man’s talent and as the most talented fighter in the world, he will be in the position to be the biggest attraction and make the most money. I think one thing will naturally follow the other and as long as he – as he said, is cooperative with the media, knows and understands promotion, the sky is the limit.
Bob Arum Calls Mayweather Jr. "Delusional," Says No Way Will He Get Even A 50/50 Purse Split For Pacquiao Fight"You can tell Floyd Mayweather that Bob Arum says he's delusional," Arum said. "Floyd is not the attraction. Manny is the attraction. Floyd's got no idea what he's talking about. Floyd must be hallucinating when he said he wants the bigger purse and wouldn't agree to a 50/50 split. Even a 50/50 split with Floyd Mayweather is nonsense." http://www.********boxing.com/news.php?p=20008&more=1
BOB ARUM, CHAIRMAN, TOP RANK: I want to welcome you to this conference call. It’s really a pleasure as we get down to crunch time. We have the best fighter in the world, “Pretty Boy” Floyd Mayweather, on this call. Floyd, I know, can’t wait for April 8th to show everybody once again how truly talented he is. In my opinion, yesterday [March 29, 1966 - Ali v. Chuvalo] was my 40th year in boxing and “Pretty Boy” Floyd Mayweather, next to the early Muhammad Ali, is the best fighter that I’ve ever seen..
Bob Arum, Pacquiao's promoter, called him "the best fighter I've ever seen," a high compliment from a man who also promoted Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard -- and Floyd Mayweather. http://www.mlive.com/boxing/index.ss...m_offer_p.html
Don't know the point of these "best fighter I've seen" crap when called out goes on vacation after demanding unprecedented roadblocks, which made Arum say, "Mayweather is a coward."
Give it up TS. Until this fight happens, these threads are useless.

called out? u mean like shane called out manny?
"Pacquiao is a great fighter, but it seems like he did a duck job in bypassing a fight against Mosley for a bout against Cotto. If Mosley wasn’t fighting so well right now, I could understand Pacquiao not wanting to fight him. But the fact remains that Mosley just recently defeated arguably the toughest fighter in the welterweight division in Antonio Margarito. So why isn’t Pacquiao fighting Mosley rather than Cotto?"
"Things were easy for Pacquiao and Roach to dismiss a fight with Mosley earlier when he said that he wasn’t interested in coming down to 143. However, when Mosley stepped up and called their bluff by saying that he would not only come down to 143, he’d also be willing to fight Pacquiao at an even lower weight than that by fighting him at 140."
"This offer fell on deaf ears and was seemingly ignored by Pacquiao’s management team. It seems as if Pacquiao’s management team were never seriously interested in a fight with Mosley, because if they were, the 140 and the offer of a smaller pay cut, they should have been enough to make the fight happen."

demanding unprecedented roadblocks? like Pacquiao asking for a $10 million
infraction penalty for every pound over the 147 pound limit unprecedented roadblock?
Didn't you see Mosley struggled with Hoya in two fights? Pac beat Hoya to a pulp. Is that the guy you think Pacquiao ducked? Don't you have eyes and ears that you have to rely on a trainer's words?
Cotto just beat Mosley at the time, why would he duck a beaten man? You don't like triangles? Then Margarito could have been in the picture as well, which he is scheduled to fight next. And who will decide who is the best among these three? You? Who tf are you?

This has been answered a million times already. Simple answer is, he cheated with proof. While Pac's were based on accusations by a crackhead.
Let me ask you a simple question.
Do you approve that boxers in general be subjected to blood tests on the day of the fight? Take all the time in the world before answering this question.
(I can't seem to get a simple answer from these ped experts.)

No boxers shouldn't get tested on the day of the fight. But just because they have the option doesn't mean they will test them on fight day.
