And this is the guy that has inherited Calzaghe's crown?

F*** me, the guy holds more than Ruiz and Hatton, uses his head more than Holyfield and seems to get away with it. The ref last night was a joke, the guy let him initiate holds repeatedly and allowed use of the head.

Calzaghe would have beaten this counter punching spammer all day. The holding just isnt warrior like. Fight, counter but stop "strategically" holding.

Its a bit*h move. Just like the ground game in MMA.

What the **** are you talking about? Ward has won on every level so he must be doing something right. You just dont know good technical fighting when you see it. Ward took away Greens reach advantage by fighting on the inside would you rather he slug it out with his chin held high.

Ward stepped up to an elite level with only 20 fights, and is now the favorite to win a tournament.....it took Calsucky how long to finally step up and fight a few decent fighters and some old hall of famers?

I'm not a Ward fan but I was impressed with his tactics, he bullied Green for the entire fight and easily won every round. Green didnt really do that much to stop it either.

However, I still hate the way Ward used his head. Alot of the time when he had Green on the ropes he was leaning in with his head, and I can't believe the ref didn't warm him for it. Bit of a stinker this fight, was expecting more.

This is di****able and annoying how so many people have jumped on the band wagon and now saying he's favorite. Dirrell beats him IMO.

Arthur Abraham is still favorite in my eyes, I said from day one Dirrell is the only one stylisticly who gives him problems, the rest he'll beat.

Not to take anything away from Ward, he's very talented and will give AA a good run for his money but wont beat him.
