like those guys? you are a complete moron or you are blind. cotto was in great shape and carried the weight better than I thought he would. Like others have said, its about being in optimal boxing shape for yourself, not the best viewing for others.

        just not to that extent

i think its inaccurate to say miguel was drained. he has fought at 140 not too long ago. he looked great training in 24-7. he looked great for the first 4-5 rounds of the fight (obviously he got knocked down but besides that it was a hell of a fight). then the damage began to accumulate. miguel never made any excuses for himself, he said he lost to the best fighter. why do you insist on making excuses for him?

            indeed.

your conditioning can be excellent regardless of how much fat you have (even though saying miguel looked fat is completely idiotic). arreola's endurance and durability was AMAZING in the vitali klitschko fight. he also went 12 rounds with a strong, fit, and active adamek. i do wish arreola would improve his appearance though... just cause he represents america - and he is just adding to the idea that all americans are fat.

he did complain about being hungry alot... and its just irritating that Manny demanded he fight at 144 for a 147 belt...plus..look how good he was at 154...that thats 10lbs heavier than when he fought Pac and he looked much more comfortable....so thats why i think he was drained

he made the clottey fight at 146, when he didnt have to. i think 2 more lbs wasn't a fight changing deal. cotto was still the bigger guy in the ring. its lame that manny wanted the fight at 144, but cotto was not drained or overtrained for that fight. you can say that about DLH, but cotto looked great to me.

yeah he looked good...that fight could have gone either way judging the first three rounds i just wonder how good he would have done at 147 and look At Green last night complaining about 2lbs ...actually blaming that for his performance

mhm, well green is a whiney girl. i said all along he didnt deserve to even be in the tournament. miranda sparked his punk ass - and he didnt even show up for one of his ESPN fights. its funny how he talked **** about ward for having an injured knee, but now he makes up tons of excuses for his. god what a *****.

anyway - it was evident that pac had way more skills than cotto. i think if cotto would have had steward in his corner for about 3-4 years before the fight - the fight would have been closer all the way through. i hope in about a year, for pacs last fight - cotto gets the rematch with him with steward in his corner. if cotto beats marg and pac beats may, it would be such a compelling fight. definitely more competitive than the first.

cotto's loss was determined by the fact that he was with an A- or B+ level corner for all of these years and he needed an A+ corner to win that fight, and he needed a lot of experience with that corner. he has that corner now in steward, the question is now though - will pac be around long enough for cotto to improve enough? who knows...
