I cant believe so many people like the way Ward fights. The biggest problem i see with Ward that he has no power. Some day a strong guy will run him over. Its far to early anyway to compare him to guys like Roy Jones or Mayweather.

I dont understand either why people on Ward's nuts. Yes he has skills and he is fast but why is he fighting as if he doesnt have his legs anymore(ex Bernard hopkins). Bhop doesnt have his legs anymore so thats why he clinches alot, dunno about his headbutts. Ward is 26 and fighting dirty as hell. Coming in with his head is dirty, I can careless what you call it. He has the skills to make fights exciting even with his average power but he doesnt. If you guys think Ward is the next Roy jones than Berto must be GOD.

ward will occasionally take a punch while on the outside, his reflexes aren't all what they are hyped up to be, nowhere near floyds or jones

Hes not on Jones or Mayweathers level and won't be anytime soon. Hes a completely different type of fighter, the only similarity is that he has yet to take any punishment and has lost very little rounds in his 21 fights. Hes more comparable to a present day Hopkins, because even Hopkins in his youth was a straight up beast steamrolling dudes, not clinching/spoiling.

lets see how ward does against others boxers like dirrell or maybe chad dawson b4 we start making comparisons to floyd or RJ. Wards has looked gr8 so far but its been against guys he matched up very well against. kessler, greene and miranda are all good fighters but they style wise dont match up with ward.

You're underrating Mikkel and Green's chins. Both of these fighters have never been knocked out.

people think dirrell is gonna get mugged, but fail to realise that kessler and green are stationary targets, dirrell gives you a hard slap and turns 90 degrees when he feels the ropes to close

and when you get inside(not hold) he flurries out then gives you the slap and turns agains sliding across the ropes

No not Roy Jones at all. Maybe a Floyd/Hopkins combined fighter. And, that still might be pushint it.

But, I see no Roy in Ward. Dirrell has more Roy in him then Ward does.

yes he have the style of Hopkins and Mayweather but have same combinations of Roy, obiusly dont have his speed and splotion
