At the Plaza De Toros Del Recinto Expositor in San Juan del Rio, Queretaro, Mexico, Omar Nino (29-3-2, 11 KOs) captured the WBC junior flyweight title with a twelve round unanimous decision over Rodel Mayol (26-5-2, 20 KOs) in a rematch of their February bout that ended in a technical draw.
