He didn't do anything about it.

I've seen plenty of Ward's fights when he was coming up on shobox, didn't see anything like this. Styles make fights and tonight they didn't.

Green was a walking mummy in there, he didn't use his feet to pull back and prevent a clinch, nothing. Ward took what Green gave him, a dead corpse to beat on up against the ropes.

ward is very good young champion who is comig along nicely. he has showed the willingness to show he is the best in the ring by fighting in the super 6 and has beaten the guys he was scheduled to fight so far convincingly and looks to have the talent to be a problem for anyone at the weight. stop hating the kid and lets see what happens in this tournament

I don't find Ward's style very appealing (sorry Gus Johnson), but you have to respect someone who makes every opponent look bad and always dictates the pace of the fight. Vitali Klitschko does the same thing, but with a much different style.

That was all Ward. he did it in the Kess fight...Lots of fighters would look bad against Ruiz for his clinching style, its hard to fight against especially when you train for a boxing mathc and get cliched to death. I expect ward to do this the whole tourney since he is stepping up in class from his normal opposition...
