I laughed when Tarver pointed it out...he predicted green would make up excuses.

He sure did. Tarver was very critical of Green. Not only did he point out early on that Green is an excuse maker but he also pointed out that Green clearly took Ward lightly and you could tell that bothered Tarver from a fighter's perspective.
