Green thought he was having a boxing match tonight, not a holding and hitting match.

Come on man, don't let the commentators base your vision. Ward would punch while coming in, drop his head while holding his left arm out and wrap it around Green. Green may have initiated a few clinches, but no way in hell did he even come as close as Ward did. A few times I saw Ward trap and hold onto Greens left arm and repeatedly hit him. I don't know, but that's illegal in the amateurs, and I'm pretty sure it is in the pros.

Well, as per my original statement, he should have thrown some ****ing punches, push him off to get the right distance and throw a ****ing punch. I'm sorry to be so blunt, but good damn never in my life of watching boxing have i seen a fighter get pushed against the ropes, who did nothing on the inside and yet still didn't try to get the fight into the middle of the ring or at least off the ropes.
