My report will be up shortly. I refrained from calling it a robbery, but I had Mayol winning, and the judge who had Niño winning 117-109 needs to find another way to make a living. I thought it would at least be a split decision.

I can live with 115-112 and 115-111 even if I don't agree with them; giving Mayol three rounds is absurd, nor do I necessarily agree with the eighth round being scored 10-8. Niño had a good round and briefly staggered Mayol, but it wasn't to the point where it should've been a two-point round. That's extreme

I'm not filipino, so I did not scored the bout with my heart. Nino needs to take some pictures of that title, because it'll be gone in a few months.

Yea i agree it wasnt a high way robbery like funeka guzman but i though it was a close fight and nino turned it up on the eight onward. Plus didnt mayol get deducted two points in the middle rounds which would contribute to the out come. But the the third judges score card was awfull

In the first 8 rounds, Mayol dominated the fight 8 rounds to none or at worst 6 rounds to 2.....


When I heard the score announced after 8 rounds, I suspect a HOMETOWN DECISION IS COMMING~~~ Guess was right!
