Greens a well-liked dude here in Tulsa (his hometown). Get over it.

Dude sukked basically, you are right, i shouldnt disrespect the great mayorga.
LOL, Im not bigging up Mayorga but it is not fair to compare him to people like Miranda. Like you said, Miranda is simply a gatekeeper who is just a one dimensional power puncher. If you can avoid the right hand, You should be able to beat him pretty easy. I do not rate him and never did, This is why nobody is giving Green a shot against Ward. Green looked scared and didnt seem to be able to change strategy (whether he was sick of not). After Miranda knocked him down he was on his bike for the rest of the fight. And Ward is the exact opposite, He can adapt and adjust and is very strong willed.

I think Green's only chance is to land a big shot and that will be difficult with an elusive guy like Ward, Who also grabs you whenever you get close to him. Green is really up against it in this fight but im not totally sold on Ward either so it will be interesting...

I'm not really fussed, he's a better boxer than i'll ever be and the dude is entering this tournament for one, two or all of three reasons:

        1. he needs to pay the bills - we all do so he's doing what he does best

        2. he genuinely thinks he can do well/win - fair play to him, i wish him the best

        3. he wants publicity and to further his career - a dude taking the right steps, gotta respect that.

He comes across ok (a little odd ..) on FC360 so i got nothing against the dude. I hope he does well.

I think so too. Dibellas fighter Taylor out. Enter Dibellas fighter Green. I also felt it was a bit shady how the sneaked out of a qualifier against Bika.

It could also be argued that Miranda was more deserving of a place than Green.

Ricardo Mayorga is much better and has accomplished way more than Miranda.

              Silly rhetoric.

              EDIT:

I see someone else already made the observation, LOL.

I've come to the conclusion that he should have been in instead of Taylor anyway. Taylor was coming off a loss and had done 0 business at 168. Other than Bute, both Green and Bika were probably more qualified than Taylor to get into the tournament. The problem in, Taylor made that money for the tournament and network, so he was put in it.

Bika was the one who withdrew from that match... not Green's problem.

Miranda has been on quite the losing spree since his win over Green. Pavlik, Abraham and getting shut out by Andre Ward right before the tournament came together didn't help his case much.

he likes to look at his feet in the middle of fights and he trains hitting the double end bag and the speed bag with his eyes closed. strange human(if he is indeed human)
