    yea there are some guys out there like gamboa that fight 4 times a year...i think that if its not a mega fight it shouldnt be 3-5 months after its signed

      There becoming like Flyod, this is what happen when fighters cares more about money than legacy. It ruined the sport, Flyod is a good example!!

          Its like in baseball pitchers used to go all the way... now its very likely we won't see a pitcher winning 300 games.

            I think boxing in general would improve itself immensely if these top fighters fought more than twice a year. The respective fighters would generate more buzz and keep fans interested and involved. Look at Chad Dawson, he last fought in November of last year; fans rightfully don't have that long an attention span. It's hard to follow a guy who takes longer than 6 months to get back into the ring....

            Another notable active boxer is Tomas Adamek. Amongst other things, he's created a good fan base because of his activity. He's been fighting 3 times per year since 07 and he'll probably fight four times in 2010. That's keeping the fans involved...
