    Floyd Article!

The world received some more bad news this week about the prospects of Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather ever happening. Earlier in the week, reports circulated quoting Oscar De La Hoya as saying the negotiations for the “Super Bowl of Boxing” were “very close” to completion.

But Richard Schaever the CEO of Golden Boy has come out to refute that optimism, claiming his boss, De La Hoya, was misquoted. Schaefer made the comments to Lem Satterfield, the Boxing Editor of AOL’s FanHouse. Schaefer also added that he “really can’t comment” and “there’s absolutely no comment from my side.”

These latest statements from the Golden Boy side of the fight are extremely negative in nature and almost seem like panicked spin doctoring – to put the immediate damper on the high hopes that were created by Oscar’s, The fight is “very close” to being signed position.

Because ever since the beginning, Mayweather and his team have shown a clear aversion to making this fight (though most people refuse to realistically accept it.)

Consider advisor Leonard Ellerbe’s comments a month ago after the Mosley win (to Satterfield of FanHouse), strongly reinforce that Floyd does not want the fight despite the colossal rewards involved:

“Floyd is going on a vacation, he’s not thinking about Manny Pacquiao.”

(Though Floyd said before the Mosley fight that he wanted to make the biggest fights against the best competition and he wanted his team to “line em all up.”)

“The business model has been estblished by Floyd Mayweather and he’s in complete control.”

(Translation: Floyd is calling all the shots, not HBO, not Arum, not Golden Boy. If we don’t want to fight Pacquiao, we don’t have to. We can just fake retire again.)

“If and when he starts to do something with negotiations, we’ll approach it then. But Floyd is not thinking about anybody.”

“He’s getting ready to take a long vacation.”

(Translation: To all Powers that be – let this be a warning, don’t pressure us to fight Pacquiao, or we will ignore you by going on a long vacation.)

Whatever happened to Floyd saying, If he takes the test, we got a fight?

Believe it, This is not looking good for Pacquiao vs. Mayweather. It never has looked good. Floyd Mayweather, con man extraordinaire, might outsmart ALL the boxing Powers that be who have no comprehension, no idea that his secret agenda all along may very well be to never, ever sign a contract to box Manny Pacquiao, even if the price hits $100 million.

The fight “isn’t gonna happen. Some fights aren’t mean to be made,” said George Peterson last December about Pacquiao vs. Mayweather.

The boxing media and the Powers that be should contact George Peterson and ask him to elaborate on this cryptic yet evidently prophetic comment.

Just thought i would throw it out there, ....TGIF!!

Floyd's already on vacation,he hired a private jet and has been flying around the USA but that wont affect the negotiations because he is updated everyday.

The most important question however is 'who is the biatch on ypur signature
