You keep mentioning Marquez and fanbase. Where was this passionate Mexican fanbase when Marquez fought Manny to the low tune of 400,000? Marquez doesn't have a passionate fanbase at all. Does Marquez have fans of course he does but he doesn't have a fanbase.

Let me ask you this how many PPV view buys do you think the Marquez vs Diaz fight will do?
Pacquiao was not as popular among casual fans before Oscar. The same way that Mayweather was before he fought Oscar. Oscar was the key for both fighters to break out and become a mainstream sports star. However both still need a credible and somewhat popular B-side to pull their PPV numbers to more than a millions buys.

So long as they are arguing over money it's not a problem, bit of haggling is part of the trade.

Floyd from the word go says he fights for money so i will not be surprised if he wants more money , Pac fights for legacy so why is he rejecting less money than Floyd.

This fight was doomed from the onset especially after the ppv numbers came out. Business wise there is no way for Mayweather to accept less or equal percentage for the fight because he has proven that he is a bigger draw than Manny. I am not hating on Manny but I said after Mayweather/Mosely and Clottey/Manny that Mayweather was going to demand a bigger portion of the pie. Manny made around $12 million in his last fight and Mayweather made around $30 or $40, so how in the he** do you not expect Mayweather to not demand more money.

...how tf can a boring boxer demand so much? He's more entertaining as a promoter outside the ring than a boxer inside the ring.

Team Pac needs to wake up and forget about this clown.
