Comments Thread For: Ibragimov Thinks Povetkin Can Beat Wladimir Klitschko

Former world heavyweight champion of the WBO, Sultan Ibragimov, thinks Alexander "Sasha" Povetkin has a chance to beat WBO/IBO/IBF champion Wladimir Klitschko. Povetkin is the mandatory to Klitschko and their fight is being discussed for the month of September. Ibragimov spoke with Russian journalist Alexander Pavlov and said Povetkin has to prevent Klitschko from creating a lot of distance to use his very sharp jab. [Click Here To Read More]

Damn Ibragimov must have gotten hit on the head harder than i thought. LOL. And I dont blam anybody for not taking tests if the sanctioning bodies dont require it. I would not get poked not once if I did not have to . Ibragi makes little sense

I think if Povetkin wants testing, Wlad should agree to it. Or risk making himself look guilty of taking something. Having said that, I dont see Povetkin beating Klitschko. Not at this point anyway, Wladimir is just on top of his game right now and Povetkin is not ready for him.

Another shorty for Wladimir to take care of - Ibragimov must be out of his mind to think Povetkin will have any better than chance than he did. When will people realise that anyone less than 6' 5" in height will not be able to challenge this version of the champ?

I think Ibragimov is out of his mind. Anyways, by the looks of it, we'll see in September.

Sultan is just supporting his fellow Russian, he must know Povetkin has little chance.
