F*** sake I'm a david haye fan but come on I can't understand him fighting harrison over the sisters. It's a joke fight and people will call Haye a ***** and a runner. I don't think he's scared of either brother but I don't have a clue what he's playing at.

Being pragmatic, and assuming that I am Haye, I think I can understand his actions-or lack of them.

With his fragile psyche, and loving the glory of being a "world" champion, and visualising the potentially huge paydays, it must be very difficult for him to accept the liklihood, that as soon as he fights one of the Klitschkos, this would be all over.

So, it's natural to milk the situation to it's utmost, whilst he can. If he can stretch it out until he is, say 31, when he wishes to retire, then well and good, he can ride off into the sunset, with no reputation for "ducking" to face.

Agree with most of the post, but he can only retire with his reputation intact if he does actually fight a Klitschko before he retires and makes it clear that he wants the fight and wasn't simply cornered into it by the media and his fans/detractors. Simply being undefeated at HW won't cut it, not with the types of fighters he's currently facing. And if he gets bombed out with the quickness by either Klit (Wlad most probably) then I can't see anyone remembering him within the next two years or so.

Yeah, I'll definitely watch it (in a sports bar probably) for the simple reason that I think it'll be exciting. Utterly meaningless on the world stage of course.

Incidentally, I can see this fight being quite popular due to the types of viewers that flocked to Haye's last two fights: basically clueless patriotic temp-converted football yobs who wouldn't even know who Pacman was if he double punched them between their yokelish mismatched ears. Needless to say, this is the type of fan that Sky is banking on to bring in the green. And cultivated types like me of course.
