    Is Amir Khan Too protected?

We all know that Amir Khan was protected when he fought under Frank Warren. He has been on the canvas 5 times against mediocre opposition, and was sparked in under a minute by the first puncher he fought which was Prescott. According to Amir he signed with GBP because he wanted the big fights. It looks to me that GBP will continue where Frank Warren left off, by matching him with either old washed up names, non punchers or smaller fighters. Amir Khan is an accident waiting to happen, and that will come as soon as he is matched with a top guy at 140. GBP want to make money out of this kid but know he has a glass jaw. That is why he is protected more than Fort Knox. Thoughts anyone?

Yeah, GBP is being too selective on his opponents but business wise GBP is doing a good job...

We all want to see him fight bradley, alexander or maidana but sad to say this is not happening this year or next year

The difference between Frank warren and GBP is that the latter can bring in bigger named easy competition. Khan is probably the most protected fighter in the game today, and thats coming from one of his fans.

Alexander is the only guy who wants a tourney at 140.

Dude is young in his career give him some slack. I wanna see him in with a maidana a bradley or alexander as much as the next person, but his chin problems are out there for all to see and his confidence building from the prescott loss is growing. He will have to face a puncher some day, and with his big mouth on twitter if he calls out anyone we'll be sure to see him in a challenging fight some day/

Point: He may be protected, but he can't be forever.
