At this stage of his career and their careers I see Berto beating Mosley, Cotto, Margarito, Cintron, Clottey, Angulo, Green, Martyrosyan, Foreman and he beats Collazo easier in a rematch.

Mayweather, Williams and Pacquiao would beat him.

i dont think he beats cotto. i think cotto has seen enough of what berto has to offer. i believe that berto could get on cotto's level by the end of his career - but he needs to become more active. his win over quintana was very impressive IMO. berto v cotto would be a fantastic fight, but id like to see berto beat mosley first and cotto avenge margarito loss to make it a real event. after that - winner of mayweather/pac fights winner of berto/cotto.

but thats in a perfect boxing world - we sadly do not live anywhere near that world.

point is i think berto should build some star power by being more active and getting some true household names on his record. i don't think hes ready for cotto, but thats also cause i think cotto is not washed up.

At 147, Berto beats anyone not named Mayweather or Pacquiao IMO.

I would agree with this, or Paul Williams if he does in fact drop down.

I think a prime Cotto would decision Berto in a hard fight for both. At this stage I see Berto staying in front of Cotto with his explosive style and just basically unloading combos in the corner. We know Berto is not a runner and he has a decent jab and fast hands. If you run against Cotto you're dead, if you stand up against him you have a chance especially if you're bigger. Berto is 5 9 and comes in as a tank on fight night and likes to trade. In a trade, he'd have the handspeed advantage against this Cotto.

Berto is B level. He cant fight on the inside to save his life, he fights with his legs almost in a split like position and he has defended his WBA belt that he was handed in a vacent mismatch againest 2 JR welter weights Juan Urango, Steve forbes and STILL managed to look average doing so.
