He's got good speed, movement, angles, punch variation, power, long range jab and some sharp short range punches. His guard is a little leaky though, with a little more work on that he might go far in the sport. He'll need to gradually improve his level of opposition though, his next fight against undefeated Tanada isn't a tremendous step up, although probably a sensible amount at this point in his career. Tanada only had 12 fights himself and 2 of them were draws. Nakamura has a lot of potential no doubt. Check out Gary Russell Jr. He's a featherweight, possibly headed for super feather so a bout between himself and Nakamura might happen down the line which might turn out to be a great fight.

I really hope he doesnt to a Valero on it and fall in love with his power and forget his boxing skills.Agreed Tanada is a sensible step up his handlers are pacing him nicely.Ive only heard of Gary Russell fights on alot of them nokia cards.Hopefully Naka does the business tomorrow and makes that fight a fantasy fight

He loves on picking Pinoys boxer lol. At this weight class I believe that there is no formidable Pinoy boxer. Maybe he can fight Al Sabaupan too.
