What if Mayweather would of fought Oscar De La Hoya and Shane Mosley 5 years before he actually fought them, would the end result still be the same, would Money May still be undeafeted?

Edit:everything would be the same as it was when they fought (weight division), just that PBF would be facing these guys at a much earlier age than what he did.

I would like to think that DLH would be faster and could of beat him, Mosley might have taken more chances, but I am not 100% certain that Shane could of done it, but Oscar I am sure he would own PBF

To be perfectly honest, questions like these are impossible to debate with any real degree of accuracy. All one can do is speculate.

Example:

Floyd was 25 in 2002. He fought twice that year against JLC and had just moved to lightweight. He was fighting at 130 pounds the year before.

Oscar was 29 in 2002. He fought Fernando Vargas at 154.

You proclaim that Oscar would 'own' Floyd if they fought 5 years earlier. Um, I should hope so, given the ridiculous weight difference there would have been.

You can do the same with Mosley-Mayweather. Mosley was fighting solidly @ 154 in 2005, Mayweather had just moved to welterweight. I think Floyd UD's him at welterweight even then. Mosley hasn't slipped THAT much, although he's faded slowly in the last few years.

Does the Oscar fight still take place at 154? In that case Oscar would probably win, but if the fight were at a lower weight Floyd could win. He still beats Mosley easily.
