I dont really share his optimism to be honest, i think the odds are against this fight happening for some reason unless one of them really compromises and changes their position

The fight is going to happen, I have a pretty good source and it looks like it will be in Vegas, the split will be different in order to compensate for the drug test dates. the actual split comes after(ppv sales) the initial purse which is 50-50. Nov 13 is an open day or dec 4.
