    Examiner: RingsideReport Pac-Mayweather article

After positive signs from both Top Rank and Golden Boy promotions recently, it looks as if the biggest fight of all time could be just around the corner.

If the latest reports are to be believed, the fight everyone is waiting for could be just days away from being announced. As revealed by RINGSIDE REPORT, apparently the only thing left for the two sides to do is to sign the bout agreements.

If that is the case, then the contracts will presumably be signed some time this week and the announcement might come as early as this weekend. If Arum and co leave the announcement much longer the world cup might overshadow the announcement, and obviously both parties will want as many casual fans as possible to hear about the fight.

The report also mentions that Floyd Mayweather thinks he will make over $50 million for the fight, which could well mean that he has a bigger purse than Manny Pacquiao. While the exact figure will depend on how many pay per views they collectively sell, that figure could also just be an optimistic prediction from Floyd, and similar figures were bandied about before his fight with Shane Mosley.

alot of possitve rumors but hopefully they are true. usually the examiner is very anti mayweather. but if they cut the hate and are being positive maybe thats a good sign.

if he has to settle for less it is his fault and his fault only. last time he had 50/50 sitting on a plate and didnt even have to argue for it

I think he would, Even if he only gets a 60/40 deal then it will still be easily the most money he has ever made. And Pacquiao claims he fights for the people, belts, legacy and not money. So if he turns his back on the deal because of money then he would look a pretty major hypocrite.

I get goosebumps just imagining the tension in that scene.
