What are you talking about dude? He extended Hatton's training camp like 6 weeks for the Pacquiao fight...he really did try. But look at the result. And then, Sr. gave up. Mayweather Sr. just isn't that good of a trainer.

How can Sr. be a great trainer when he even comes late for training for a big fight like PAC-Hatton???

IMHO he is good but not that great...

He couldn't train hoja to beat Strum, and little ass Forbes busted hoja up. Floyd SR. is a joke!!! That's why his son has ALWAYS been trained by ROGER!!! And remains UNDEFEATED!!!

I don't think so. IMO, Roach sees a fighter's attributes and build a system that works and enhances it. Sr. sees some style that is unorthodox and will try to correct it to something similar to his own style. That is just the way I see it.

since sr. is in godd terms with his son already, i wonder why jr. trusted his uncle more on his training than his own dad.

                  Right, Sr.

Maybe you should train Manny when he fights Jr.

Didnt Pac throw a 12 punch combination against Cotto?

                    Sr. cracks me up

What do you expect a professional boxing trainer to say? I'm not going to do a better job than this guy? That's like a fighter saying this guy could beat me.
