hahahahhaaha are you ****ing kidding me? The was the biggest joke of a post in BS history.

Pernell was more entertaining because he had a funner way of avoiding shots using REFLEXES(that your dumbass said before he didn't have) and being more active. Pernell was an active defensive fighter.

He'd win a decision by being more active behind the jab.

Pernell fought like an absolute pansy. Mayweather would beat him. Mayweather would seem like a gorilla compared to Pernell.

Sure, Pernell fought anybody. But he did it in an irresponsible way. He fought the easy way, never engaging, assumng you're entitled to back up the whole fight. Even being an "active defensive fighter" is cheap as ****.

At least guys like Mayweather and James Toney can fight coming forwards sometimes. Pernell was just a total coward

Some boxing fan you are. The whole point of boxing is to hit and don't get hit to win the fight. A real boxing fan could appreciate Pernell's art. His fight's were always amusing and entertaining. They might have been slugfests but he had a beautiful style to watch in the ring.

And who cares if you coming forward, Clottey came forward all night and had a terrible fight with Manny. Pernell was dancing around but had a ten times better fight with Chavez & de la hoya. Activity is always better then aggression.

Some boxing fan I am? There are respectable ways to win and fight. If you're fighting a guy who won't come to fight, should you have to go and chase him? The DLH and Chavez fights were boring which PW deserved to lose. Mayweahter would beat him at any weight too. Leonard though would destroy him

Your one to talk about boring fights when you have one of the most boring fights in boxing history in your avatar.

And your credibility is shot when you go around saying Ali & Pernell whitaker weren't reflex fighters but Floyd is when it's the complete opposite. Floyd has the best defense in boxing history because of the shoulder roll & philly shell. You can't get inside his defense, he has reflex but his defense doesn't rely on it as much as Ali & Whitaker's whose defenses ALWAYS relied on speed, movement, and reflex.
