    If Mayweather does beat Pacquiao...

Will he FINALLY get the credit he deserves?

As posters would you give him credit? (Even if you dislike him)

Or would people moan and say he cherry picked a smaller man?

I get tired of the hate and excuses on here. If and when the fight happens I will give due credit to the winner. If Pacquiao wins I will give him props and say he is an ATG. Even though I do not like him. And I would no longer be suspiscious of him using enhancement drugs because if Floyd agrees to the terms then he cannot turn around and say something else...

    good post.

i see too many here that would discredit a floyd win,

after seeing how quickly people discredited a win against mosley,

a fighter "he [floyd] would not go against because it was too much of a risk".

    but

may the best man win here,

as pac has agreed in taking olympic style drug testing,

beating floyd would leave no doubts in my mind.

the winner deserves their due credit.

and green k sent, for being unbiased bro

        Nope!!!

He had to use mind game and the beat down fighters he could have beaten years ago.

Only *****s will earn respect to that.

I just think people are always being so negative, Mayweather wants to please the fans and fight the best but when he does. It's like he doesnt get the credit. This has happened with so many of his fights and it's not fair. Before the Judah fight people were like "He never fought anyone fast" and then when he wins it's like "Baldomir already beat Judah, Why not fight him?" and then he wins 12 out of 12 against Baldomir and people are like "Well he had 9 losses". It's always excuses man, I just wish more people would give credit where it's due.

Having said that I do feel he would get the credit for beating Pacquiao, Manny has become so popular, loved and appreciated that people would have to give Mayweather credit if he beat him, Even Larry Merchant lol.

Mind games is mind games, At the end of the day the business always gets settled in the ring. There is always mind games before fights but the better man always wins.

Are you saying that Mayweather should have fought Pacquiao a few years ago? Pacquiao has only became really popular in the last year or two so why would Mayweather have fought him before then? I dont understand at all.

When Floyd beats Pacquiao, Boxing fans have to consider Floyd the best fighter of all time!!!! Cause if Manny were to win (which he won't) Believe me everyone would try to claim he's the all time greatest! Manny can't beat Floyd, that's why Manny's refusing to test. Manny gets beat worse than Mosley!!!!
