    closest thing rite now is manny and floyd. no 1 seems to get tired of seeing or hearing about those two. besides them, tho, i cant think of anyone. amir khan seems to be the heir apparent, be he is no dlh with the **** he's pullin rite now.

        I think so, as Dempsey said, Pac and May are closest right now. After they retire we'll see, 15 years is a long time.

            Well I can't see it. DLH was a name before he turned PRO.

            People forget that he was headlining PPV's with 3 years of turning pro.
            Took Floyd and Pac sometime to do that.

                Oscar helped build up his name by beating JCC and Pernell Whitaker. Mayweather and Pacquiao each received big boosts in popularity when they beat Oscar. Unless some young fighter beats Mayweather or Pacquiao before they retire, it is going to be hard for anyone from the next generation to reach the level of fame that Oscar/Floyd/Manny have.
