You know if the fight gets signed and if Pac wins we are never gonna hear the end of the whole steroid thing.

People would watch it. However, the potential audience would be smaller because of people vacationing around this time and other sporting events taking place around this time. . No major sports broadcasts are held the weekend after Thanksgiving or Christmas except football and basketball games, and those all appear on television. In the past, HBO has not been willing to hold fights, not even fights on regular HBO too close to Thanksgiving and Christmas. They definitely won't place a major PPV show on that weekend or any weekend where it might compete with another major sporting event like a College football game or the NFL playoffs or even the World Cup. The Saturday after Thanksgiving is a major rivalry day for college football teams. There was a reason why Mayweather/Hatton was held in the first Saturday in December instead of the last Saturday in November or the Saturday after Christmas.

Damn it. SOmeone must be able to forge PBFs signature. Just fake his signature somone and sign the contract for him.
His signature cant be that hard to replicate.

This inside source went on to say, “Floyd is very happy that both sides could work out issues that he always felt could be talked out.” Floyd is anticipating on making well over 50 million dollars with Manny making almost the same. Tentative dates being kicked around for an HBO PPV is the middle to end of November 2010 and if this does happen there is no doubt that this fight will be the biggest grossing in history.

In recent articles, both Promoters Oscar De La Hoya and Bob Arum have thrown tidbits out that the fight was very close to being made which back up RSR’s source as well. Arum, recently has been putting fights on in Stadium Venues with great success and the boxing public is craving for this fight to also be in a stadium which without any doubt will be sold out in hours!

The same site that claimed Tyson-Holyfield 3 was a "done deal" last year after talking to their "inside sources". Something every party involved denied.
