        How can we compare todays fighters who only fight 12 rounds maximum to fighters of yesteryear???

        Didn't John L Sullivan once fight bare fisted for 75 rounds? Surely that qualifies him as being more 'fit' than any fighter active today.

            lol. Im really not sure, Maybe Marvin Hagler?

            He seemed to get stronger as the fight wore on. Especially against Mugabi and Duran, He won both of those fights in the late rounds. Other than him, There's not too many that I can remember.

              Muhammad ALi 1966-1967. Those 3.5 years off were vital.

              The physical and mental toughness he showed in manilla is beyond comprehension.

                  How can we find anything factual on this forum?? I'm looking for opinions so I can get a rough idea...but 75 rounds?! *** me that guy mustve been shattered! Lol
