Today, Wlad is dominating the HW in such a way that it seems like the division is full of bums.


Back in the 70's, WLAD would have dominated in the same way. Making extreme bums out of the HW greats active during that era.

Plus WLad will make for the handsomest HW on that era as well.

Ali should have had about 8, but the crooked judges helped him out.

Wladimir has 48 KOs, Ali had only 37.

Wlad is so much better than Ali. Its not even close. Yeah Wlad had 3 matches...at least he wasnt knocked unconcious by a 185 pounder.

I would favor Wlad over Ali head to head match up, Wlad has not shown to have difficulty with speed and prime Ali's defense relied most on his athleticism much like RJJ more than technique......also he relied on that jab just like Wlad does while Wlad is very accurate, bigger, has a longer reach, and is a much harder puncher.

Ali would have to do what no one has done which is outpoint and land on him at a high connect % because he didn't have 1 punch ko power and most of his stoppages came from accumulation while at the same time he was not the most offensive fighter either.

Best style to beat Wlad is to force him back, fast pace to tire him out, or land a thunderous shot on that questionable chin before he can get into that usual rhythm where he recognizes an opponents timing and its the usual Dr. Steelhammer show.
