Khan Needs To Fight A Legit 140

And leave JMM alone. After Marquez-Diaz II, I want to see JMM-Katsidis and Khan-Maidana/Bradley/Alexander/Ortiz.

Khan-Marquez has a foregone conclusion of Khan winning. Khan's too big, too strong, and too fast for the 140 lb., 36 y/o version of Marquez.

You might think Khan has the same chin he had when he got knocked out against Prescott, but he doesn't. The move up to 140 and shifting the weight from his upper body to his lower body (Ariza and Roach said it), have improved. He still doesn't have a good chin, but it's good enough considering his style and attributes.

At 135, Juan Manuel has had to wear his opponent down before knocking them out. What would happen at 140?

JMM-Katsidis is sure to be a great fight, FOTY candidate. Khan vs. Maidana/Bradley/Alexander/Ortiz would be intriguing fights.

Seeing as how Khan will be able to entice JMM with more money and a title in a 4th weight class, we're probably going to get Khan-Katsidis. Hopefully JMM is able to again reject the money he would get for being a stepping stone for a fight against Katsidis for good money.

JMM is fighting purely for the money now. That's why he left Katsidis in the dark for a whole year. He was too busy trying to fight Pacquiao he wasted Katsidis time.

JMM will not fight the interim champ cause there is too much risked involved and not enough cash in it for him at this stage. JMM will see Khan as a possibility to win another world title in another weight division and Khan is a big draw also, so at this stage of his career Khan seems the most likely option. Also Khan intends this to be a tune up fight towards a Bradley/Alexander/Maidana so why not???

Maidana should be ridiculed for bitching out with a fake injury and Tim Bradley should be ridiculed for blatantly ducking Alexander.

Unless Khan fights a puncher or rematches Prescott and owns him, I don't give him credit for anything.

Amir's a typical British fighter, all hype no substance. He's like 23 now,he wont fight anyone who's legit for the next 10yrs.When he's slowing down they will feed him to a legit fighter to harvest the cash,he will get knocked out and retire like his colleagues.
Anyone expecting to see Khan fighting legit fighters should forget it,he wont take that risk

It's not bitching out when you're getting robbed of your money. I don't fault Maidana for not fighting because if my manager was raping me on the money side and I found out about it before the fight I would do the same. You would be a chump not to.

JMM is fighting for money, but Nacho won't let him if he thinks he's being used as a stepping stone (which is why Khan-Marquez didn't happen in the first place).

HBO would buy JMM-Katsidis pretty quickly and pay pretty good for it too, but not as much as they would for Khan-JMM (which is ******, but GBP is pulling the strings).

Khan-Marquez is not a fight I want to see and it's not a fight that should happen until JMM either loses at 135 or wins at 140.

              I hope not.

GBP wants to build him into a star, so they're being very careful with him. IMO they want to build him up into Mayweather's next opponent and if they can do it while avoiding the fighters I mentioned they will.
