Perhaps Oliver McCall will now retire.

Good for Timur. Now his team should pick up a better opponent which allow him to move higher in world rankings. Good luck!

Well done, I hope he keeps stepping up his competition, instead of going the bum route like Shannon Briggs or Juan Carlos Gomez are doing.

Man, there is so much wrong here. I had to click on the link to see if this was the same Oliver McCall. How is the state of FL commission allowing this man to fight? Why are people paying to watch these fights?

I dont think he should be allowed to fight so soon after doing drugs.

McCall's family should tell him to do the smart thing and retire.

Why shouldn't he be allowed to fight? He has a right to make a living for himself..

Yeah it's not like he's taken a lot of tremendous beatings in his life, he wasn't even hurt in his only stoppage loss. Props to him for still making a showing of himself at 45, but being decisively beaten by a second tier guy like Timur probably means it's about that time.

I didn't even know he was fighting again until I saw him on fnf training heavyweights with michael moorer.I thought he was back in jail after his last run in...is his son still fighting after his first loss?

including jail he's been pretty active the last 18 months with 4 fights.his last 2 vs timur & a win vs lance whitaker....it's not like he's fighting stiffs who are hurting him.he has the right to fight if he can get a license.
