Coach Freddie Roach agrees with promoters on both sides that proper time for Mayweather-Pacquiao is Nov. 13
"The skillet, the public interest, can get no hotter for Floyd-Manny than it is right now," a source familiar with the private talks said. "They want to strike now and HBO, meaning Ross Greenburg, continues to push for Floyd-Manny on Nov. 13 at the MGM Grand. The parties felt having Floyd and Manny fight others first is not a sensible risk for either side."
And so maybe the bout contracts are forthcoming.

Mayweather, Pacquiao Agreement: Warm up bouts for fall rejected
No one wants to confirm or deny this but I'm hearing some bad news about the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao super bout.
The bad news is that "warm up" fights, having Mayweather fight TBA in October and pitting Pacman against the slightly mobile Antonio Margarito in November, was discussed between the negotiating parties.
Only reason I put any credence in this was USADA chief Travis Tygart references to a more advanced blood drug testing coming on line in three or four months. That made me su****ious that maybe the Mayweather camp figures the new blood test might make it less likely that Pacquiao, who has NEVER FAILED any drug test, might be tempted to cheat when they do battle.
But there's good news also.
The parties involved discussed and mutually rejected this scenario.
