No the war i am talking about is going head to head on ppv nights, what combat sport young kids will choose, fighters from both sports bad mouthing each other, dana white and joe rogan constantly stating the boxing is dead.

I don't think there is a war going on. However, I don't even think the UFC will be popular by 2020 so if there is anything going on, there won't be by then.

I agree I feel that the UFC is going to lose a lot of it's luster fast because from my persprective they rely on white college kids to order ppv's that have no experience of martial arts but like blood and quick knockouts. It is not a war but it is a competition as to what the premier combat sport is in my opinion because i have noticed every time they get mainstream attention on espn they are always compared.

People who think the MMA is going to die belong in the same category as the people who believe boxing is dying.

Two different sports. Two different fan bases.

Both have proven they can co-exist.

I do not believe that because I think that mma fans are not proven i knew a lot of kids when they were teenagers thought it was so cool and know really do not pay attention to it and i also think that mma is going to suffer a lot bc guys are not just going to listen to dana white and are going to be like **** that i want more money and cards are going to get a lot worse and a lot of fights are not going to happen.
