Mike Tyson was 5'11 at Heavyweight, he said he isn't fighting at HW he'd be fighting at MW, which aint too bad, he'll just most likely be a mid to close range fighter. Stop being negative all the time and wish the guy luck.

Well there you go then, nothing wrong with being 5'8 anyway... just change your style so it suits you... burn fat by doing runs like said before and eating healthily.

Pretty late to turn pro with no amateur background but good luck Larry...if your work ethic is good you should be able to do some things...

I'm an amateur as we speak but I haven't had any fights yet...

Snap, I will be having my first bout in September October time if they can find me one, if not then I will have to redo my medical (not a big deal)... but in England they have seasons, and the Boxing season just finished and restarts mid September so they said they'll find me one by then, it benefits me anyway cause I get to work on a few things before then.

well i fought ametur a long time ago..but havent fought in awhile im 28 and gotta go for the gusto,,got my son boxing and wanna motivate him and live my dream..win or lose ill be happy

Cong**** man I can't imagine how tough it must be to try to go pro. I'm in the same boat in terms of weight for am boxing right now. I'm 205 and trying to cut to around 175, I'm 5'10. Good luck, I wish you the best!
