Lets say Floyd Mayweather rejects his Christian background and like Muhammad Ali converts to Islam and takes an Islamic name like Farook Muhammad Or Floyd "******" Mayweather, Do you think given the current political/cultural climate that this will be seen as a rebellious and treacherous act by Mayweather or do you feel the majority would accept his religion as his beliefs?
I find that alot of African-American boxers covert to Islam, Muhammad Ali ofcourse being the most famous but there are others like Bernard Hopkins, Mike Tyson.
Muhammad Ali, Bernard Hopkins and Tyson are all Hall of famers if not all time greats. If Mayweather wants to leave a legacy greater than Ali I feel he might consider changing his religion to Islam.
----
So the question I ask: If Floyd Mayweather becomes a ****** and starts talking about Islam instead of Money would be more or less popular? And would it affect his great legacy postively or negatively?
