If you didn't say that I don't know what to say bro. It was a direct quote. Your basis of argument is that he couldn't win with pitty pat punches or didn't deserve to win with them, so as I said before you must think some serious all time greats didn't deserve wins.

Whitaker got hit harder than he hit most of the fighters he fought, while throwing more. Oscar did the same. So again you are still saying that Whitaker deserved to lose a lot of fights. DLH went defensive in the fight too, just like Whitaker did.

You want to know how I judge a fight? Who landed the most effective punches each round, now sometimes that is compubox related. In fact it is why I had EM winning MAB in the first one, EM landed just as hard of punches, threw more punches and landed more punches. That said if you don't hit as hard as the other guy all you can do is throw more punches and land more punches to win a fight.

Anyways I had tito winning 7-5 115-113.

Oscar did a great job in out boxing Tito for the first 7-8 rounds. But, Oscar didn't win every single round. I thought round 1 Tito won. I thought Oscar threw a lot of pitty pat punches but I thought Tito landed the hardest and best punch of that round. A hook to the body with like 30 seconds left that quickly made Oscar back up.

Also look at Ledderman card he had it a draw. And, for some of you guys who don't know Ledderman is a huge Oscar cheerleader. So for him to have it a draw means it was a close fight.

If you really putting a boxing clinic no corner in their right mind will tell you to run for the few rounds. They might say for the last round but not for the last 4 or 5 rounds. The reason was cuz Tito was landing a little bit more and Oscar was getting really tired.



@ 3:50 mark Oscar said he ran the last few rounds and didn't want Tito to damnage his face cuz Tito hits too hard. Dude knew he was in bad shape and a KO was coming.

Again, it was a close fight and I could see somebody having it for Oscar. But, it was a fight that could of gone either way. Not a robbery by any means. If Oscar was putting a boxing clinic, like IMDAZED said, why would he stop after 8 rounds? When have you heard anything like that before? Again I understand if it was the last round but it wasn't. There was a still 4 or 5 rounds to go when Oscar started running. You can't do that and expect to win a fight. Especially when you didn't win every single round for the first 7 or 8 rounds. And, for anybody who says that Oscar won every single round is lying or don't know how to score a fight. Look at round 1, 4, and 5 with the sound off. And, tell me if Oscar clearly won those rounds.

Politics. Look at the end of the fight tito hesitated to even put his arms up...he knew he got out classes.

WTF are you talkinga bout? Even before the decision was said Tito was saying "yo gane OK, yo gane" Meaning "I won OK, I won." So he was confident that he won that fight. And, when the decision Michael Buffer said "from Cupey Alto Puerto Rico" Tito screamed in joy and celebrated right away. And, then asked Oscar "Am I worth the 10 millions dollars?"

He did get outboxed for much of the fight but as inept as his performance was, he implemented his plan successfully and (what I think people seriously, seriously overlook) had Oscar not got on his bike full speed during the latter part of the fight, Tito may have stopped him. Yes, please believe it. One year later, Shane Mosley overcame a rough first six rounds to out-punch Oscar down the stretch. And Oscar appeared to wear down in that bout. He was wearing down against Tito but chose to stay away in the latter rounds while doggedly coming forward against Shane. Tito's steady pressure - the calling card of his career - would have made things very rough for Oscar in the championship rounds and he had the kind of one punch power that made the Quartey left hook feel like the Whitaker jab. Ok, not that soft but you get the point. Oscar has no one to blame but himself--and he knows why he did what he did.
